This post is long over-due.

Anyways people, your Ipohmali boy Point Blanc is back in the game! He's back, with his second album, titled 'The Turning Point'

Consisting of 8 tracks (I know, not enough!) This time around, this album is 99% in English. Only one small verse in chinese in one of the songs.

There are quiet a few love songs in this album, and also some anthem song. Like, 'Keep It Up', to me it's an anthem to keep life going. 'Payday' anthem for, well, um, pay day lah! And my new dance anthem, 'Before', featuring Alvin Gold.

But the bestest song to me is 'Just A Miracle (Acoustic)' also featuring Alvin Gold. You have to listen to both the acoustic and non-acoustic version of this song! Because it's crazy cool how they flipped the song!

Even though I like his first album better (>_<) there are things to love from this album. So what do you say? Give local music a chance. 'The Turning Point' has been nominated for 2 AIM Awards for this coming AIM17 on the 2nd of May.'Best Hip Hop Album' and 'Best Local English Album' and I'd say about damn time too! If you don't know what AIM is, it's the 'Anugerah Industri Musik', the Malaysian equivalent of the Grammy's.

One Day, Point Blanc's latest single under his record label Voyeur Records was officially released on 08.08.08 (FATTTT!) This track features Chinese American rapper Jin. A phenomenal collaboration. Produced by Major R.E

This month will be the comeback month for VR, not only with the release of 'One Day' but also with the label's first lady IVI's new single 'What I Want'. To check out the track just headover to the label's website.

Here's how my day went. Woke up, went to class. Badabing badabam, class finished. Went to maybank, to change my atm card to a debit card, the guy said I had to pay RM12, and wait for 30 mins. I was like, what the heck, my friend told me no need to pay for the card. So what the heck, I thought I'd do it another day. But my housemate needed to change her atm card because it wasn't working. When she was done, guess what? The new card she got, was the visa debit card......there's more. I asked her whether she paid 12 bucks. She said no. I'm like What the heck!! He told me I had to pay 12 bucks!! I was pissed, lucky thing I didn't go ahead and paid the money. Best thing was, she wasn't even applying for the debit card, she just wanted a new atm card.

STOOPID. (no, i'm not stupid, I just like to spell it that way) I can't think of a reason for the bank guy to ask me to pay when the next person wasn't asked to pay. GERAM.

Then, walk out of the bank, went over to the area where I parked.
I was like "Where's my car?" All 5 of us stopped dead in our tracks. "It's there lar, aik, don't have wan.." I was panicking like giler already. Look left, look right. DUDE WHERE'S MY CAR!!!!

Then my friend was like, "Haiya! there lar! next to the taxi! tak nampak!!!"

HEHEHEHEHEHEH false alarm. my car was hidden from view, but it was there. DRAMATIC BETUL.

anyways, anyways, the real point of me posting this now when I'm supposed to revise is this short trailer video. (hence the hip-hop sikit title)

It has been extended

My OJT has been extended till 20th of June. 'Nuff said. I ain't gonna say no more.

Thankfully, June 15th is my off day, as I've already registered to take part in a treasure hunt with Tina, Audrey and Angie. Hopefully we get a placing for this one.

Was so dayum bored today. Didn't go to sleep till 3 something in the morning, didn't wake up till like 6 in the evening. Talk about laziness.

I have to wake up early tomorrow, I have an appointment with my dentist. I think my teeth will be extracted tomorrow. Need to extract 2 teeth from my upper row. Not sure if they'll extract both tomorrow. Think I'm gonna have to cook and eat porridge for a few days after that, since my braces will surely be tighten tomorrow.

Did anyone watch AIM? I didn't, was working that night. Even if I wasn't working that night, the only reason for me to watch it is Yogi B, I found out about the results, he didn't win. Bummer. I've never heard of the winner. Oh well, what the hell. Faizal walked away with the most awards. WTH??!! and Suki got the award for the most promising artist. Now can can she win the most promising artist when her runner up walked away with album of the year? How can she be promising when she, the winner of OIAM1, is way far behind the runner up? HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA funny lar.

Don't even get me started on Point Blanc not being nominated. Seems because he wasn't qualified for the chinese album category, hence he's automatically not qualified for other smaller categories. Whatever lar. Video was way more advance than our normal local videos, album cover was great. He'll be back AIM, just you wait. He gon be back with a BANG!

Man, I'm in a state of uber laziness right now. I'm only up and about during work. I even do OT, but when I'm home, I'm in my lazy zone. Heavy ass mode. Stuck to the sofa, astro remote glued to my hand. ahaks.

Think I'll drop by starbucks on my way back from the dentist tomorrow. Haven't had a caramel frappucino for a lloooonnnngggg time.
