...About 15Malaysia: Rojak
This is the last video for this 15 video series project. Many think this one ties it all up perfectly.
I agree.
It shows who we are.
Like a married couple.
Like a dating couple.
Like a big family.
Like a big group.
We may fight, go through so many shit, call each other names at one point or another, but then we always make up.
Just like our country. We always point fingers and accuse one another for being racist and intolerant of others, but at the end of the day, after all that shit, we have no trouble looking for people to say " I am proud to be a Malaysian" Ain't it true?
So That's What I Think.

...About 15Malaysia: Lollipop
Yes, lollipop in the other meaning, and also the other one. Two sides of the story. But both are from the ugly side.
The actor Bront Palare is so good - that he disgusts me.
So That's What I Think.
...About 15Malaysia: Healthy Paranoia
Hahaha, this is what we Malaysians always do, take things too far, that it looks stupid.
All because of feeling too paranoid.
So That's What I think.

...About 15Malaysia: Meter
I think this is a very good video reflecting us, the Malaysians. It's the typical stuff everyone talks about.
I especially love the part where Baki speaks mandarin. Now that's uber cool.
A real true to itself video. Totally relatable. My favourite next to Slovak Sling.

...About 15Malaysia: Gerhana
I don't quite understand the message in this one. Plainly depicting a Malaysian couple?
Maybe.
The site is currently down, due to some upgrading. But anyhow, here's the link

...About 15Malaysia: One Future
It depicts a perfect life in the future. Where we have real integration. But what is perfect really? Living life the right way? But what is the right. Who can say what way is really right?
Is a country with people living peacefully together, fully integrated, under the full control of the government a perfect country? Are we comitting a crime by speaking aloud? Who should be in control? Government over people? Or people over government?

...About 15Malaysia: The Son
This one, I feel-and I found some other people feeling the same way too judging by the comments at the site, I find it unfinished. When the video ended, I thought it was just reaching the high point in delivering it's message.
Too me it's unfinished. I did not get the message.
So That's What I Think.

...About 15Malaysia: House
My interpretation is, some people aren't even lucky enough to be able to dream of something big. Being so used to having so little. They find that, why dream of a big house when this small one is so nice, keeps me safe, happy with my mother. My father built it with his own hands.
The boys who dreams of Ferrari car and heli pad on the rooftop might be rich and living in luxury, but not necessarily happy.
Be thankful for what you have, no matter how little or how small. People who have less, are losing what little they have, everywhere, everyday.
So that's what I think.

...About 15Malaysia: The Tree
This one is special in more ways than 1. First is, you get to see someone in a different light other than the one he has always been portrayed by the media. Second, you get a glimpse of what the proper Islamic life is about. (that so many of us including myself have yet to embrace fully)
Please hold no prejudice.
So that's what I think.

...About 15Malaysia: Chocolate
This one, is by the late Yasmin Ahmad.
My interpretation: some of us have no idea how lucky we are, yet we keep complaining about what the government is not doing for us. When in fact, there are others who are legally being treated unfairly.
Hak Keistimewaan Melayu?
I have nothig to say.
So that's What I Think.

...About 15Malaysia: PotongSaga
Yes yes, there's 1Malaysia, about how we are united and all that cliche stuff. Truth is, as much as we are united, we are also divided, over the smallest little things. Things that goes unspoken, but well known. But we prefer not to talk about it like an elephant in the room.
This first video is about misconception. There so many things we don't understand about each other. You would be surprise about what other people don't know, even if to you, that particular fact - whatever it is- is a well known fact.
Reality is, people grow up in different environments, being sheltered from certain things, but exposed to others.
Let's get to know each other.
So that's what I think.
