...About Online Banking Fraud

Every time I read the warning of "Never log into your account via email links" I'm like, yeah yeah yeah yeah, whatever, I know I know.

But today, I received this email.

Click on image for larger view.

It looks fishy, but when I looked at the 'from' address, it looks convincing.  So I clicked on the link. It lead me to the log in page. But dig this, the log in page's url was this "http://www.beautysenses.com.my/mbb/Security/" aha! I knew it!

It even has all the fraud warning and maybank2u contact number on it. Looks real, until you check the url.

I called the hotline, read out the email to the operator, I think she freaked out more than me. She immediately say "It's a fraud! Did you click on it?" Well, yeah, I clicked, but I didn't type in any info, so I'm safe.

Then just for the heck of it, I typed in some random username and password, and it logged me in (of course it would right?). Ahaks.

Have fun hacking my 'account' suckers! boo yah!

I get those too.

What those spammers don't know is that I don't have a Maybank account, so... JOKE'S ON THEM, LOL!

Bodohnye.... yes, I know a lot of people have Maybank accounts, I'm just not one of them.
