...About 127 Hours

If you are the type of person who's always dramatically saying "Oh my life is so hard, sometimes I just wanna die." Dude, you should watch this movie.

If ya ain't stuck between a rock and a hard place with a last resort of having to chop ya arm off, you'll live. Suck it up and move on.

For a movie that doesn't have much dialog, it somehow manages to be so heartfelt and emotional.

In fact, to sum it up, it's about a guy who got stuck between a rock and a hard place and his life started flashing before him.

The scene where he cut his arm off, riveting. I was so hoping for that scene to be good. I didn't want the scene to be just the view of his face, I wanted to see him cutting his arm. The emotions in that scene, damn strong I tell you. Disappointed I am not.

If you are dying from all the drama in your life, go watch this movie, it'll wake you up.

...About Burlesque

I had such high expectations for this movie. Usually, I find movies that has dancing in it to be inspiring (Step Up 3, don't it make you wanna learn how to break dance?)

This movie has dancing AND Christina Aguilera vocal powerhouse singer, I thought it will be so inspiring I'd be set for the rest of the year. Man was I wrong.

It was just blah. I don't know, maybe because I had such high expectations that it fell short. There was no feeling, no build up and no climax to the story.

In fact the only part where I got excited was when Dianna Agron from Glee appeared as the bartender's fiance. That's all.

What a bummer. I think I enjoyed watching Britney's movie more.

...About The Whole Bahasa Melayu Bible Hoo Haa

First, our nation made a big hoo haa when the misnistry decided to teach maths and science in English. They said that we are turning our backs on our Bahasa Kebangsaan. Then the ministry changed it back to teaching it in Bahasa, ensuring that our nation's level of English literacy stays stagnant.

Now the 'pious' muslims are making a big ruckus over Bibles printed in Bahasa Melayu. Like hello? The Holy Quran itself has translations in many different language, no one made a hoo haa about that. So what? We can have our Holy Quran in other languages but the Christians can't have their Bibles in Bahasa? That does not sound fair.

I don't know what the mindsets of muslims in other countries are like, but it seems that here it sounds a lil something like this. "We are peaceful people. You should respect our culture and customs, tolerate us, but we don't have to treat you the same"

The non-muslims have been very tolerant with us muslims, why can't we do the same? It won't shake our belief and faith. If we have that strong a faith in the first place. The people that usually start a ruckus are usually people who don't practice in the first place, they just want to point out other people's mistakes.

Typical.

The Christians got angry when the ministry stamped their Bibles.

Wouldn't we be mad too if the Holy Quran got stamped?

Yeah, 1Malaysia yawww

...About Online Banking Fraud

Every time I read the warning of "Never log into your account via email links" I'm like, yeah yeah yeah yeah, whatever, I know I know.

But today, I received this email.

Click on image for larger view.

It looks fishy, but when I looked at the 'from' address, it looks convincing.  So I clicked on the link. It lead me to the log in page. But dig this, the log in page's url was this "http://www.beautysenses.com.my/mbb/Security/" aha! I knew it!

It even has all the fraud warning and maybank2u contact number on it. Looks real, until you check the url.

I called the hotline, read out the email to the operator, I think she freaked out more than me. She immediately say "It's a fraud! Did you click on it?" Well, yeah, I clicked, but I didn't type in any info, so I'm safe.

Then just for the heck of it, I typed in some random username and password, and it logged me in (of course it would right?). Ahaks.

Have fun hacking my 'account' suckers! boo yah!
